Progressively working toward more and more detail in work- it is really a test of patience.
Inspired by my apartment being infested by Yellow Jackets for 3 months. (I am afraid of them, honey bees are much cuter and I preferred to paint them.)

Critique is very welcome- I have a new years resolution to make a work worthy of a DD, and I'll only be able to do that with improvement.

Anyway just wanna start by saying your style of art is super cute. Now you said you were trying to create more details in a picture (I'm trying the same right now

) anyway i think you could have added a bit more stars and made it a bit darker on the top and made the liquid appear to be sorta glowing (not really glowing but that light affect you get when its dark and something like liquid is reflecting some light, sorta makes it look like it was glowing) any way i also think some of the liquid could be dripping down the tubes on the right of the picture. Maybe also a design or some words on the mug the bee is holding. Anyway i don't see anything wrong with the picture just thought i'd give you some ideas to help you with your detail goal
